As a Young Alumni Member you will have full access to all Club amenities including:
The $250 covers the initiation fee (normally between $146-$313), membership dues (normally between $146-$313), and any applicable taxes through June 30. The membership is a $300-$600 value, which you can receive for only $250 through this one-time special offer.
The membership will automatically be renewed for another year, which is the case for all memberships at The Club. Your membership will be converted to an alumni status based on your place of residence and employment at that time. If you decide that you do not want to continue the membership after June 30th, send a written notice to The Club with your signature before June 30th. Please see the cancellation policy for further details on this matter.
As a Member of The Cornell Club-New York, you have access to The Clubhouse, a full calendar of events, and our reciprocal club network. The Clubhouse has two dining rooms, two floors of banquet and meeting spaces, a library, 48 overnight guestrooms, a business center, and a complimentary health and fitness center. For those of you who will not be in NYC next year, The Club provides a home for you when visit! You would also have access to an extensive network of reciprocal club. Membership dues will be based on the applicant's undergraduate graduation year and place of residence and employment at that time. As a recent graduate, you will be considered in dues category (less than four years out) within each residential and employment category (resident, suburban, etc.). A schedule of the current regular alumni dues rates are available here.
Yes, but not on an unlimited basis. According to The Club’s guest policy, Members can sponsor guests to visit the Cornell Club when s/he is not present, but each sponsored guest can visit The Club up to two times per year. Members cannot sponsor guests to use reciprocal clubs without the Club Member present.
To purchase a membership as a gift, complete the application form and sign on behalf of the applicant. If you like, you may also purchase a house credit to be applied to applicant's account to use towards any house charges they incur at The Club, such as dining, programs, and overnight rooms. Once completed, mail, e-mail a scanned copy of the application to [email protected], or fax it (to 212.986.9543).
It normally takes up to one week to process the application from the date that The Club receives it and normally another week for the applicant to receive the membership packet containing his/her permanent membership card in the mail. Also, please indicate any special instruction you have, such as if it is a surprise gift, a different address to send the membership packet to, etc.

The young alumni category is the second largest membership category at The Cornell Club!
Yes, but The Club still requires a credit card, which is kept on the applicant's file to bill future membership dues. The applicant may change their credit card on file at any time
YES! A good number of young alumni join the Clubhouse so that they can join the gym. Gym membership would also give you guest access to the squash courts and fitness classes at the Yale Club.
On 44th Street, between Fifth Ave and Madison Ave, only two blocks away from Grand Central Terminal and the MetLife Building. The Club is in walking distance to the theatre district, shopping, and several of New York’s popular cultural institutions. All major subway stations are within a three to five block radius of The Club. The Club is truly in the heart of Manhattan.
Appropriate dress is mandatory at all times in The Club. The Club’s dress code is Smart Casual, which includes: collared shirts, slacks, blue jeans, sneakers, and knee-length shorts. Tee shirts, athletic apparel, flip flops, torn/tattered jeans, and ball/casual caps are not permitted. Business attire is always welcome. For the Health & Fitness Center, appropriate sneakers, tee shirts, shorts, or sweats are the only acceptable gym attire.
