Titles often make people feel powerful. And, whenever there is formal authority linked to them, that feeling usually increases exponentially. A common challenge leaders face is assuming that titles ‘magically' inspire people to conform to expectations. But, unfortunately they don't. Real power is derived by wielding the wand of influence and leveraging credibility to drive behavioral change. This session contrasts positional authority with influence and provides key strategies for developing the latter.
