Building Your Way to an Inspired Life with Trustee Emeritus Joseph Holland '78

In the Touchstone Tools (touchstonetools.com), Cornell Trustee Emeritus Joseph Holland '78 reveals how anyone can build a solid spiritual and moral foundation to thrive in the face of adversity, live each day with inspiration, and rise to his or her divine destiny. Holland has dedicated his life to helping Harlem's homeless. His tireless outreach efforts revealed an essential truth: people lead fulfilling lives because of their foundational values. Drawing wisdom from his real-life experiences, Holland developed a method that allows anyone to build a solid spiritual and moral foundation to thrive in the face of adversity, live each day with inspiration, and rise to his or her divine destiny. This discussion will consider not only personal applications but societal implications as well.  Come and begin to build your greatest potential. A proud Cornell legacy (his father '39; his sister '68; and his daughter '18) Holland earned a B.A. '78 and M.A. '79 and was an All-American football player. He was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame in 1991 and has served as a member of the Board of Trustees since 1988.

6:00pm reception, 6:30pm lecture, gratis.  Members and guests are invited to dine at The Club with Mr. Holland following the lecture. The cost is $40 per person, inclusive of tax, gratuity and one glass of wine with dinner. Dinner reservations are required 48 hours prior to the program. Same-day cancellations and no shows will be charged.
