You Can Manage Your Brain Chemicals with Loretta Graziano Breuning '75

Join Members and learn how to reprogram your brain to live a happier, healthier life!  Dopamine, serotonin, oxytocin, and endorphin make us feel good when they flow. But they are not meant to be on all the time.

Our brain chemicals are inherited from earlier animals. They work by turning on and off to motivate steps toward survival needs. They're controlled by neural pathways you built from your unique individual experience. You can enjoy more happy chemicals when you know how they work in the state of nature. Loretta Breuning explains what it takes to build new pathways to turn them on in new ways.   You'll also learn how to build new habits by rerouting the electricity in your brain to flow down a new pathway, making it even easier to trigger these happy chemicals and increase feelings of satisfaction when you need them most.

Loretta Graziano Breuning is author of Habits of a Happy Brain: Retrain your Brain to Boost your Serotonin, Dopamine, Oxytocin and Endorphin Levels. She is founder of the Inner Mammal Institute and Professor Emerita of Management at California State University, East Bay. Dr Breuning has helped thousands of people make peace with their mammalian brain chemicals through books, podcasts, online resources, and fascinating live talks. Her blog, Your Neurochemical Self, is hosted at PsychologyToday.com.
