Ladies Who Lunch: Anna Becker "Organization Bootcamp: How a Professional Organizer Kicks Your Life Into Shape"

Anna Becker is the founder of Amazing Being Consulting, a New York-based home and closet organizing business. She will speak about how she got started, her observations of common mistakes made in the cluttered home and office, as well as how to build a more organized life.

Born and educated in the former Soviet Union, Anna, at 25 years of age in 1979, entered New York City with a Master's Degree in Performing Arts and Music/Art History from the prestigious National Music Conservatory & Art University. The inability to speak English limited her opportunity to continue with a career as a performer or music teacher. Anna attacked the English language, joined the work force at the department store Century 21 as a stock employee, went to school nights and weekends, and became a professional make-up artist/stylist in the beauty and fashion industry. With published credits in Vogue and Harper's Bazaar, and expanding her expertise into skincare and overall well-being, Anna spent the next 25 years as a successful executive in the luxury retail industry and in spa management. Just before the Great Recession, witnessing an overall decline in the luxury industry, Anna re-invented herself as a Professional Organizer.

Garnering skills developed as an executive, she built a small Home & Closet Organizing Business from scratch.  Today, Anna is a successful small business owner as well as the estate manager for an internationally-recognized designer and President of a global conglomerate. In addition to running her household and estate, she services clients in metro New York City  and in Dallas, where she has developed a following.

Anna will share with us behind-the-scenes tips gained from working behind the scenes of a star-studded family, and from the countless individuals whom she has helped de-clutter and streamline into leading more organized lives.
