Inside Scoop on Sesquicentennial Ice Cream
"Over the past 150 years, Cornell has distinguished itself as one of the world's leading academic institutions. Now, in honor of this landmark anniversary, The Cornell Club is paying tribute to one of Cornell's most noted research pursuits: Ice Cream!
Please join us for a lively look into one of Cornell's tastiest endeavors. Professor Alicia Orta-Ramirez of the Department of Food Science will be on hand to illuminate Cornell's history of ice cream development, the science behind its future, and to give us the inside scoop behind Sweet CORNell, the special, limited-edition sesquicentennial flavor. This family friendly event will feature a dessert buffet with cookies, cakes, and seasonal treats – all to be paired with Cornell Dairy Ice Cream!
1:00-3:00pm. $10 for adults, children under 14 are gratis. Advance reservations required by Wednesday, April 29th, at which time they are considered final sale.
