Cornell University Speech & Debate Union vs. United States Military Academy at West Point Speech Team
With opening remarks by Ken Jautz '78, Executive VP, CNN

Following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, the Bush administration launched the U.S. War on Terrorism. Nearly 15 years later, debate teams from Cornell University and the United States Military Academy at West Point will examine the success or failure of this global strategy. Citizens are divided on whether U.S. action to stem terrorist attacks should be applauded for its accomplishments or decried for emboldening anti-American sentiment and terrorist groups. Cornell and West Point students will explore both positions while debating this controversial topic.

5:00pm debate begins, doors open at 4:45pm.  Cocktail reception immediately following.  $15 per person, includes cocktail reception and debate.  Advance reservations required by Wednesday, April 29th, at which time they are considered final sale.
