The Cornell Club Goes to Philly!

Join us for a special coffee tasting at Saxbys Headquarters in downtown Philadelphia. We'll hear from Saxbys CEO and Founder, Nick Bayer '00 and learn from Sam Brandvein, Dillanos Coffee Education Specialist and Megan Irving, Dillanos Business Development Representative.

Guests will take part in a tasting experience that will require all their senses as they taste Saxby's Signature Blend and a surprise coffee chosen exclusively for this event. Both coffees will feature interactive pairings that will create a heightened tasting experience.
Registration includes remarks from Nick Bayer '00, Sam Brandvein, and Megan Irving, a coffee tasting and brunch.

We are happy to have the Northeast Corridor Office of Alumni Affairs as an event co-sponsor.

About Saxbys:
Our mission to Make Life Better permeates through everything we do. We pair the local, friendly atmosphere of a neighborhood café with consistently delicious products you'd find at a big name coffee shop. Saxbys offers expertly roasted coffee products, all natural smoothies, hand-made sandwiches and made-to-order breakfast. We live our core values by remembering our guests' names and orders, partnering with local businesses and volunteering in the community.

About Nick Bayer '00, Saxbys Founder and CEO:
Nick is currently the Entrepreneur in Residence at Cornell University and faculty member at Drexel University, where he teaches a course in entrepreneurial franchising. He serves on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters Southeastern Pennsylvania and has been a Big Brother for seven years.

About Dillanos + Saxbys:
Dillanos is honored to partner with Saxbys as their official roaster.  Our role is not to just provide Saxbys with the best coffee in the industry, but as a business building partner as well.

The Dillanos and Saxbys teams worked together to develop custom blends that appeal to the broadest coffee audience. In 2015, Dillanos hosted Saxbys on an origin trip to El Salvador to better understand the seed to cup process. There they were able to see first-hand how industry leading farmer Emilio Lopez Diaz and Finca El Manzano create quality and sustainable farming practices.

11:30am-1:30pm, $35 per person. Includes coffee tasting and brunch. Advance reservations required by Thursday, May 18th, at which time they are considered final sale. Attendees will meet at Saxbys, located at 2300 Chestnut St #310, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
