Please join the Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s Heather Wolf for a bird walk in Central Park followed by a brunch and presentation at The Cornell Club!  Wolf will discuss The Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s eBird project and how it facilitates experiencing the excitement of spring bird migration in New York City and beyond over breakfast at the Cornell Club. Space is extremely limited; please note the following capacity restrictions:

  • 9 spaces available for the bird walk with breakfast and lecture
  • 11 additional spaces available for the breakfast and lecture only

Heather Wolf is a New York City-based birder and a web developer for the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, working on projects including eBird and Birds of North America. She is the author of Birding at the Bridge: In Search of Every Bird on the Brooklyn Waterfront, and has led bird walks, classes and lectures for various organization including NYC Audubon, Brooklyn Bridge Park, Madison Square Park, and Washington Square Park Eco Projects. 7:30am meet at Central Park. Attendees will meet at Central Park West at 72nd St., right outside the entrance to Central Park at Strawberry Fields. 9:00-9:30am travel to The Cornell Club by transport of guest’s choosing. 9:30am Breakfast at The Cornell Club. $25 per person. As the bird-walk is a no-cost activity, the price for the walk and breakfast/lecture and the breakfast/lecture only are the same; tickets are final sale on Thursday, April 19th; any no-shows for the bird walk will be charged a $25 cancellation fee.
