One highlight of the club calendar is professional profile day, and we will offer it again on July 31 st . The professional profile day offers members the opportunity to update their profile with professional head shots. Other conveniences offered to our Members include complimentary coffee and tea service in the lobby and the ability to store luggage makes it easy to enjoy a day on the town. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The Cornell Club-New York has been providing an array of services and accommodations since 1989. We proudly offer Members a facility with excellent Guest Rooms, Fine Dining, Banquet Space, Special Events, a Health & Fitness Center, and other services. PROGRAMS A sincere thank you to all of the Club Members and volunteers who continue to support Club programs. This year, The Club hosted over 70 programs, including: the annual Young Alumni Brunch, a Moët & Chandon Tasting Dinner with Francesca Filippini ’15, Family Event: Science Day, A Cornell Ballet Experience with tickets to the contemporary Here/Now performance at Lincoln Center and brunch lecture, Charles Moore ’51- Olympian and Former Cornell Athletic Director, P.D. Jephson- Princess Diana’s Private Secretary, and MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews. Cornell Club Members also had access to over 20 Inter Club events including the annual Inter Club Beer Tasting at the Harvard Club, Casablanca: A Black &White Ball for young alumni members at the Yale Club, and Inter Club Grill Wars at The Princeton Club, at which our Chef Michael Rizzo won an award for best BBQ sauce. With the great success of our programs, and the diligent work of our Speaker’s Committee, The Club will continue to engage the interests of our Members with exciting lectures, tours, social events, networking opportunities, and exclusive culinary and tasting programs. This coming year, we are including several mentorship events to the calendar. We also plan to add more social Young Alumni events to the calendar. GUEST ROOMS The Club’s 48 overnight rooms with personal and professional services will make a short or long stay a pleasant one. All rooms feature Keurig Coffee/Tea Makers and Smart TVs with the Quadriga system. Member feedback is important to us and based upon feedback from surveys provided at checkout, we have added nightlights and safes to all overnight guest rooms. You can also request mini refrigerators and bathrobes and slippers are provided upon request. Take a Me Day! When booking a two-night stay for Friday and Saturday or Monday and Tuesday, reward yourself with a Sunday stay at 50% off the daily rate. This promotion applies to a Sunday stay when pairing with two or more consecutive nights prior or after the Sunday.
