The Club's Library, named for Cornell University's
first President, is a restful sanctum that invites
you to lean back and tune out the busy world outside.
Newspapers, magazines, business periodicals are
available as well as books of fiction, non-fiction
and reference (many by Cornell authors) and Cornelliana.
Writing tables and overstuffed leather armchairs
complement the tranquil setting.
Statements of Account are sent to members monthly
detailing activity at the Club during the previous
month. Dues are billed quarterly although they
may be paid annually if you wish. Each monthly
statement will include dues for the current quarter
(plus dues from any previous quarters not yet
remitted), detailed house charges for the month
just completed and prior month's house charges
if not yet remitted. Questions about your account,
or requests for a copy of your most recent Statement
of Account, will be referred to the Accounting
Department or by contacting Acting Controller

The Club's concierge can obtain tickets to most Broadway
and Off-Broadway shows for members and in-house
guests. Tickets (which are not discounted), will
be charged to your account and left for you at
the box office. Discount Movie Passes to SONY
and Cineplex Odeon theatres throughout the United
States are also available. Concierge services

Babysitting services are available for in-house
guests, daytime or evening, upon request. Please
contact the Club's Front Desk at (212) 986-0300.
The Club recommends Magic Limousine
(718) 326-1900. Transportation to/from area airports
can be arranged in advance by contacting a Guest Service Agent at The
Club's Front Desk at (212) 986-0300.
Members may entertain guests in the Club in accordance
with the following rules:
• A guest
who is a not accompanied by a Member will not
be admitted to the Club unless a Member has made
prior arrangements for a Guest Card by phone,
in writing, or in person through the Membership
Office.
• A guest is limited to two (2) unaccompanied
visits per year.
• Members will be charged at rates set by
the Board for guests who accompany them and use
[food and beverage], Health and Fitness, and/or
guest room facilities.
• Guests may wait for Members in the Lobby
or in one of the private dining rooms.
• Minors are permitted in the Club provided
they have proper adult supervision.
• The privileges of use of the Club by a
guest may be withdrawn by the Board of Directors
at any time.
• Members are responsible for the conduct
of guests they introduce, for informing their
guests of the House Rules, including the dress
code, and for all debts incurred by their guests.
• Members of The Cornell Club-New York solely
have the privilege of proposing family members
and business associates to membership.
Served in the Lobby from early morning to 4:00
PM daily. Iced tea is also served during the summer
months.
The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA
Today and The Cornell Daily Sun are available
in the Lobby daily, as well as during breakfast.
The Club has an arrangement with Central Parking
Garage, 100 West 44th Street (between Sixth Avenue and
Broadway). (212) 398-0464. Valet and self
parking is available. Overnight guests at the
Club will receive a parking discount when the
parking receipt is validated by a Guest Service Agent. Street parking is limited.
Visitors may obtain laundry services by contacting
the Front Desk. Same-day service is available.
Irons and ironing boards are available.
The Club has a variety of products bearing the
Cornell name, including t-shirts, sweatshirts,
shorts, umbrellas, baseball caps, decals, coffee
mugs and postcards. T-shirts, shorts and tank
tops bearing The Cornell Club-New York (Health
& Fitness Center) logo are available in the
