Directions

From Cornell University:

Route 79 to I-81 South to Route 380 South to Route I-80 to the George Washington Bridge (GWB – a toll bridge; EZ Pass accepted). Take the Henry Hudson Parkway (9A) south (also known as the West Side Highway) to West 54th Street. Turn left on West 54th Street (you are now going East) and proceed to Fifth Avenue. Turn Right on Fifth Avenue (you are now going South) to 44th Street. Turn Left onto East 44th Street. The Cornell Club is the first red awning on your Right, #6 East 44th. Driving distance is approximately 240 miles.

From Albany:

NYS Thruway to Palisades Parkway South to the George Washington Bridge (GWB – a toll bridge; EZ Pass accepted). Follow directions from Cornell University.

From New Jersey:

Via George Washington Bridge See Cornell University directions Via Lincoln or Holland Tunnels (toll; EZ Pass accepted) Exit tunnel and drive North up Sixth (also known as Avenue of the Americas), Eighth or Tenth Avenue to West 44th Street. Turn Right onto West 44th Street and continue (you are now going East), crossing Fifth Avenue. The Cornell Club is the first red awning on your Right, #6 East 44th.

From Long Island:

Via Queensboro/59th Street Bridge Exit bridge and proceed Westward to Fifth Avenue. Turn Left onto Fifth Avenue (you are now going South) to 44th Street. Turn Left onto East 44th Street. The Cornell Club is the first red awning on your Right, #6 East 44th. Via Midtown Tunnel (toll; EZ Pass accepted) Exit tunnel and make a Right onto Second Ave. and proceed North to East 41st Street. Turn Left onto East 41st Street (you are now going Westward) to Sixth Avenue (also known as Avenue of the Americas). Turn Right (North on Sixth Avenue and then Right (East) onto West 44th Street and proceed East, crossing Fifth Avenue. The Cornell Club is the first red awning on your Right, #6 East 44th.

From New England:

I-95 (New England Thruway) to Triboro Bridge (a toll bridge, EZ Pass accepted) to Manhattan. Follow signs to FDR Drive South to 96th Street exit. Turn Right (West on East 96th Street) and proceed to Fifth Avenue (where East 96th Street meets Central Park). Turn Left (South) onto Fifth Avenue. Turn Left onto East 44th Street. The Cornell Club is the first red awning on your Right, #6 East 44th.

From LaGuardia, Kennedy & Newark Airports:

The Cornell Club is easy to get to from any of the major airports. Taxis are available from all three airports; simply follow the signs in the terminals. Bus services are also available and clearly marked in the terminals. The Cornell Club is a short walk from Grand Central, which is a main bus hub. There are subway and train options as well from each of the airports. For more detailed information you can go to the port authority of New York’s website at http://www.panynj.gov.

Public Transportation:

The Club is within two blocks of Grand Central Terminal (rail transportation to Connecticut, Westchester county and points north) and is just 10 blocks north of Penn Station (rail transportation to Queens, Long Island, and New Jersey as well as Amtrak). We are also easily accessible to the Times Square subway station, Port Authority Bus Terminal (for interstate buses including NJ Transit), and numerous MTA bus lines (including those to the outer boroughs).
